Board games
OK we know - Board Games are really boring. So boring there must be board games you got at Christmas or whenever, from a a distant aunt maybe, that you have never actually played but left as a dust factory under the bed. OK so now that you're really bored  it's the time to get out that forgotten game and give it a try.
Most games you need at least one pal to play it with. If you are on your own why not "Go to our make up your own game page"
Ok so you've got your pal or two - how about actually having a go at Cluedo, Pictionary,  Kerplunk, Kendo, Mousetrap (it's a challenge actually trying to assemble this one) or our best favourite Monopoly. Come on have you really got what it takes to be a millionaire?
Do you really want a challenge then why not get out Dad's chess set. Has he got an instruction book the try learning how to play or pester him or your mum or brother to teach you. It's a great game when you get into it.
And of coures if you're really feel fed up and totally unmotivated then why not just go play Solitaire on the computer.  Or maybe (in the same menu) Minesweeper could be a touch more exciting!
Talking of Minesweeper why not make up your own Battleships game. It is similar to Minesweeper but you use different kinds of ships and get different points depending upon what type of ship you sink. (Sub, Destroyer, Battleship, Tugboat and so on) All you need is two pieces of squared paper - you could draw the squares yourself. Number the squares A B C D . .  up one side and 1 2 3 4 ... up the other.
Decide on what ships you and your opponent or opponents are going to have and how many points each one is going to be worth.
Don't let your opponent write down the squares he has fired at - leave it to his memory and more skill will come into it.
