Car Wash
This is great fun and it can be quite a good way of making extra pocket money.

You will need
Two CLEAN buckets. One for the shampoo and one for washing it all off and rinsing with clean fresh water.
A Clean Sponge and preferably a plastic bottle of car shampoo which can be bought at most supermarkets or your dad will probably have some in the garage or shed - don't put too much shampoo in your bucket of water an egg cup full is all that is needed.
Don't forget to always start at the top of the car and work down and use more water as you get down to the more dirty areas. It is essential not to pick up dirt on the sponge as this will scratch the car and you will cease to be a hero and become highly unpopular!

Start by getting all your equipment together and if possible have a trial run on mummy's or daddy's car. Then go round the neighbours and offer them your car wash service. Be very professional but don't take it badly if some people do not want their car washed. Remember cars are very valuable pieces of equipment and owners will be very concerned that a good job will be done and cars will not be scratched. Reassure people that you know all about taking care to do the job properly starting at the top and not getting the sponge dirty - don't ever put it down on the floor.

I think it best to ask for £1 per wash as this competes well with automatic car washes and it's a nice round figure. They may of course give you a tip for a job well done.

Valeting means the cleaning out of the inside of a car and we don't think this is a good idea as there may be valuables or breakable things in the car.
You could of course valet mum's or dad's car.
