Hunting for long forgotten treasure in cupboards and spare rooms etc.
This can be great fun and a way of tidying up and having a clear out.
Have a look at our “Toy Sale” page as having a good clear out can be the start of the toy sale.
Every home has its junk drawer or junk cupboard - that place where you put all those things which might come in useful sometime.
You could have a few cardboard boxes - one for chuck it out, one for stuff to sell, one for important stuff to keep, one for stuff that needs putting somewhere else and so on.
Kid's bedroom is a good place to hunt for long lost treasure, some of the finds will be things you had forgotten about, you will probably feel like playing with it again now it has been rediscovered. Bits of old Lego are a good example or some old Scalextric or one time favourite toy cars. Yoyos could be rediscovered, a game Boy, an old kite, grandma's teeth or perhaps not! Anyway have a good hunt and have fun, you'll never realise you had so much good stuff to play with!
