Make up your own game

Your child could make up their own card games or create your own board games which could be based on games you already know. For instance I have made my own Monopoly Game based on my home town and you can also make one of your own town or village too.

You will need plenty of thin card and felt tips for this.

Other ideas for board games are:-

A treasure hunt - base it on your own garden or house.

Pop songs which have to be sung if you land on that particular square. Some of these can be really excrutiatingly bad or top hits which can be fun to perform
