Do your own newspaper

Get your child to do their own newspaper. It could have news of their school or it could be news in your community. It's fun to write newspapers you can include the weather, contents, pictures, people we know like the policeman or the postman, cafes and entertainment's in the area and many other things. Have a 'What's on' column, and you could even take photos of local events. To give your child a basic idea look at some local newspapers and  think what would appeal to young people.  Keep it Good News- we get enough bad!
